In 2003, the Bank introduced cardinal changes into its correspondence network structure, which is now based upon customers’ needs. In order to expand the scope of interbank operations, we opened a number of new correspondence accounts. Basing upon the findings of marketing research conducted by our specialists, we developed new competitive tariffs stimulating correspondence banks for more effective usage of their accounts. Besides, such factors as technical facilities and high proficiency of bank employees also played an important role in correspondence relations expansion in 2003. To provide for highly effective and fast interbank operations, the Board of the Bank allocated much money for technical outfit of the bank and for the introduction of effective state-of-the-art digital technologies.
