Using Bankersalmanac.com’s Financial Comparison Search you can analyse and compare
institution’ financial information using any combination of the following
criteria:
- Total Assets
- Capital
- Profit & Loss
- Performance Ratios
- Loans
- World & Country Ranking
- Services
- Type of Bank
- Country
Select the criteria you want to include in your financial search and click
Next.
You then need to enter the values against each of your chosen criteria. For
flexible searching click in the drop down options box and select the less than
(<), greater than (>) or equal to (=) options. Then click in the USD window
and enter the sum you are interested in, with or without commas.
- Total Assets: searchable in US dollars (USD) based on
the most recent financial information held on Bankersalmanac.com.
- Capital: searchable in US dollars (USD) based on the most
recent financial information held on Bankersalmanac.com.
- Profit & Loss: searchable in US dollars (USD) based
on the most recent financial information held on Bankersalmanac.com. There
are four areas which can be searched separately or in combination with each
other - Net Interest Income, Other Income, Other Expense and Net Profit/(Loss).
- Performance Ratios: searchable as percentages based on
the most recent financial information held on Bankersalmanac.com. There are
three areas which can be searched separately or in combination with each other
- Net Profit/Equity Capital, Net Profit/Total Assets, Equity Capital/Total
Assets.
- Loans: searchable in US dollars (USD) based on the most
recent financial information held on Bankersalmanac.com.
- World and Country Rankings: based on total assets in US
dollars (USD) based on the most recent financial information held on Bankersalmanac.com.
You can search them separately or in combination with each other. Searching
less than (<) means a higher rank and greater than (>) means a lower
rank.
- Services: search by up to 20 of these services at one
time. To select services, go to the Services window, hold down the Control
key and click on the services you want. To select a range, hold down the shift
key. For flexible searching, click in the drop down box for the following
options:
- is/are - use to search for banks which have ANY of the
services you have chosen.
- all of - use to search for banks which have ALL of the
services you have chosen.
- none of - use to search for banks which have NONE of
the services you have.
- Type of Bank: search for a bank by up to 20 of its activities
such as investments, retail, development, commercial etc. To select activities,
go to the Activities window, hold down the Control key and click on the activities
you want. To select a range, hold down the shift key. For flexible searching,
click in the drop down box for the following options: is/are - use to search
for banks which have ANY of the activities you have chosen.
- all of - use to search for banks which have ALL of the
activities you have.
- none of - use to search for banks which have NONE of
the activities you have chosen.
- Country: institutions can be registered in one country
and operate in another, e.g. offshore banks. Use this to search for up to
20 countries of operation at a time. To select countries hold down the Control
key and click on the countries you want. To select a range, hold down the
shift key.
- Sort Results by option allows you to determine the order
of your results list.
After entering the values against your chosen criteria click on Search.
To see the full details for any of the institutions in your search results list,
click on its name.
