The following is a guide to the contents of a Due Diligence Report. For detailed explanation of the terms used in the Due Diligence Report, please see the Glossary.
At the top of the report are the Document Indicators highlighting what documents a bank has in the Due Diligence Repository. The indicators are coloured blue when the bank has the documents in the Repository, they are grey when Bankers' Almanac has asked for the documents but not yet received them.

The Offshore Licence Indicator is shown when the bank exclusively does offshore business.
Addresses
The Addresses section provides you contact details are provided for both the Head and Registered Offices of the institution.
Institutional Overview
The Institutional Overview provides you with a summary of the institution's regulator and ownership details. The name of the bank's regulator is shown together with a summary of the bank's owners including % ownership. If the bank's shares are traded on a recognised stock exchange, this is also displayed along with an additional indicator of whether the bank does exclusively offshore business.
Due Diligence Documents
The documents are grouped into 5 sets: Licence, Corporate Governance, USA PATRIOT Act Certification, Anti-Money Laundering Controls and Annual Reports.
For each document, the Source shows you where the document has been obtained from e.g. directly from the bank, from the bank's website or from a third party such as the regulator. If the document has a date of issue, this will be shown along with the expiry date, in brackets, if relevant.
The Submitted date is the date that the document was first included on the Due Diligence Repository, the Confirmed as Current date is the date that the bank last confirmed to Bankers' Almanac that the document was still correct. You can also see what language the document was provided in.
The Document Audit is the history of contact between Bankers' Almanac and the bank in trying to obtain the document or confirm it is still correct. For information on the checks carried out on each document prior to them being included on the Due Diligence Repository please see our Methodology.
Compliance Personnel
This section provides you with the names and contact details of people working in the Compliance department of a bank.
Institutional Information
The Institutional Information section provides additional information on the bank such as an overview of bank's branch network, both domestic and foreign; a history of the institution, including an overview of any mergers or name changes that it has been subject to plus the name of the independent auditor the bank uses to check its AML processes.
