Bankersalmanac.com is pleased to announce the launch of its enhanced payments offering which is live on the website from today. The changes you will benefit from are:
Bankersalmanac.com will now show the principal or owning location of both SWIFT/BIC and clearing codes. When you search by SWIFT/BIC or clearing code, the search results will now show you the bank office that is the principal or owning location of that code. Beneath the principal office details, you will see a link to any other offices that share that SWIFT/BIC or clearing code. Should you wish the search to default to all offices which use a particular SWIFT/BIC or clearing code, then you can change this using My Search Options under My Profile on the top toolbar.
In addition, Bankersalmanac.com now shows the relevant connected SWIFT/BIC for an unconnected BIC in order to correctly route a payment to it.
Bankersalmanac.com has improved its IBAN Search to help you identify the issuing bank of an IBAN even when the IBAN is invalid. It will also provide you with the associated IBAN BIC for use when paying to that IBAN. For easier use, the IBAN Search is now also one of the search options in the quick search in the top toolbar.
To improve the efficiency of processing transactions, Bankersalmanac.com now shows SSIs for different settlement centres for those banks that have multiple ones. It also provides the SWIFT/BIC that the SSIs are for settlement through.
